    HOW TO APPLY FOR CLAIMING FAMILY BENEFITS IN TELANGANA
    National family benefit scheme is introduced to provide benefits to the family of the primary bread winner. The scheme provides financial assistance to the households below poverty line on the uncertain death of the primary applicant. Our government introduced this scheme for the welfare of poor people. Government provides so many benefits to below poverty line peoples. White ration card is issued to below poverty line peoples. White ration card is also called BPL card. Family benefit scheme is one of the benefits provided by them. Through white ration card, they can get basic food necessities like wheat, rice, pulses, kerosene, etc at low prices. They also receive benefits / concessions in fee of school, colleges, age limit concession while applying for government as well as private jobs. Only peoples who are below poverty line can apply for the family benefit scheme. For applying family benefit scheme, applicant has to fill the application form. Applicant also has to give his income proof. The applicant can also apply through meeseva centre.

    PROCEDURES FOR CLAIMING FAMILY BENEFIT SCHEME THROUGH MEESEVA
    @> FIRST STEP: Applicant has to visit to the nearest department of MeeSeva centre or on the official website of the department which is below given:

    @> SECOND STEP: On the next given page, we can see services provided my MeeSeva in Telangana are to be given and for downloading application form click on ‘MeeSeva services forms’ option or directly go to the below given link:

    @> THIRD STEP: On that page, departments name are to be given such as: aadhaar ,aarogyasri, agriculture, CDMA, civil supplies, commissionerate of industries , Department of Factories etc. for downloading application form of calming family benefit, click on the District Administration department.

    @> FOURTH STEP: From there you get an application form, download the application form, and take a print out of form in the prescribed format of A-4 size.

    @> FIFTH STEP: After taking print out of application form, fill all the asked details in the application form. All the details to be filled in application form should be correct; because details and spelling you fill in application form will be given in your documents. Details to be filled in application form should be in capital letters.

    @> SIXTH STEP: Attach all the documents to be required with application form. The list of documents are mentioned below..

    @> SEVENTH STEP: After this visit to the nearest Meeseva center of your region /area, and submit the application form with documents. They will ask you for some small fee charges. After depositing fee charges for further required processes. Give your details like phone number to the department for giving information. They will give an acknowledge slip. It is used at the time of receiving certificate / documents / check.

    @> EIGHTH STEP: After this meeseva , forward your applicant to Tahasildar, then Tahasildar verify your application about application and documents genuineness.

    @> NINTH STEP: After Tahasildar, satisfied then he forward the application to RDO officer, he verifies the request and then forwards it to the joint collector. the joint collector check your application. If he seems your application correct then after certain time you will get benefits of family benefit scheme from meeseva center. There you have to show your acknowledgement slip.

    @> A copy of income certificate.

    @> A copy of address proof, such as:

    • Ration card
    • Electricity bill
    • Voter Id card
    • Telephone bill
    @> A copy of PAN card.

    @> A copy of family member certificate (applicant surviving head of family).

    @> A copy of white ration card.

    @> A copy of death certificate of primary bread winner.

    • Service charges: to be charged at RS 35.
    • Statutory charges: there are no statutory charges.

    IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

    @> Application form should be filled in capital letters.

    @> Total family income should not exceed from RS 6,000.

    @> Surviving head of family should not have major son.

    @> Carefully read all the instructions before filling the application form.
